Our offer
Translation rates are calculated on the basis of agreed units. These can include: document pages, standard pages, lines or words.
A standard page represents 1800 characters including spaces. In MS Word, the amount of standard pages is calculated as follows: number of characters with spaces / 1800.
A line represents 55 characters including spaces.
A word represents a character or a group of characters separated by spaces at the beginning and at the end.
A character represents a letter, a digit or any other symbolic expression of a thought.
Authenticated translations are charged on the base of document pages. In case the amount of characters per page exceeds 1800, the charging unit changes to standard page.
- Except the service rate, the client is obliged to cover interpreter’s food and accommodation expenses. A standard man-day lasts 8 hours including all breaks and interruptions.
- The customer and the provider can agree on half-day assignment, i.e. 4 hours. In this case, the interpreter’s compensation equals 50 percent of standard daily rate. Any assignment exceeding 4 hours is considered a full man-day. If man-day duration exceeds 8 hours, the minimum increase of standard hour rate is 15 percent for each started hour.
- Compensation of travelling allowances (travel and food expenses, accommodation, pocket-money etc.) underlies relevant regulations of the Slovak Republic. The customer is obliged to compensate for time spent on official trip outside the place of permanent residence in the amount of 50 per cent of corresponding interpreting fee.
- Unless agreed differently between the client and the provider, the client is obliged to provide the interpreter with written materials from all participants. The client is not authorized to demand any activities that were not subject to previous agreement.
Due to diversity of individual client requirements, the price is subject to consultation and agreement between the customer and the provider.
Price conditions underlie valid legislation of the Slovak Republic and the European Union.
